WAYNE BEAM MORRELL (American, 1923-) THE TREE VISITOR. Oil on canvas scene shows a Downy woodpecker perched on the side of a tree, which has made a nest in a knot in the tree. Signed lower right. Nicely housed in a modern gilt wide wood frame. A nice early example of this artist’s work. SIZE: 24” x 18”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-26953 (1,500-2,500)
