AMERICAN EMPIRE MAHOGANY CARD TABLE. Second quarter 19th century. The rectangular hinged top swivel above the ogee curved frieze and joins to a square sloping pedestal. Further joined to a rectangular platform with incurved sides and feet. SIZE: 28-1/4″ h x 35″ w x 17-1/4″ d. PROVENANCE: De-accessioned from a New England Institution. CONDITION: Top with surface scratches. Proper left hinge damaged. Some losses to veneers around lower perimeter of base. Otherwise good. 9-20524 (100-150)
