SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1884 RAMROD BAYONET TRAPDOOR RIFLE. Cal. 45-70. 32-5/8” round bbl. The “SWP” cartouche is dated 1890. SN 523150. CONDITION: Gray brown patina overall with light casehardening colors on the tang and faint traces of blue on the lockplate. Stock shows normal handling marks.
