CUSTOM MADE CARVED AND PAINTED “CRAVEN” FAMILY NAME BOARD. First half 20th century. Depicting a displayed eagle clutching the Great Seal of the United States and a cluster of arrows in its talons, within his beak is held a blue banner carved with the name “CRAVEN”. The whole polychrome painted on a single pine board. Mounted within a simple wood frame. SIZE: 15-1/4″ h x 34-1/4″ l CONDITION: With original painted and stained surfaces. Some small white paint spots throughout. Now mounted for hanging. 9-98530 (800-1,200)
