CONTINENTAL DELFT ROCOCO MANTEL CLOCK. 4th quarter 19th century. The blue and white decorated lyre shaped porcelain case in the Rococo Revival taste surmounted by a rooster and flanked by lizards, supported by a fanciful dragon on a pierced rocky leaf-decorated plinth. The 8 day brass movement marked “L. Marti et cie / Medaille de Bronze / #6587”. Enameled dial with time and strike apertures and Roman numeral chapter ring beneath a bevel glass bezel. SIZE: 16″ h x 9″ w x 5-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Case is in very good overall condition. Dial and movement are clean. Very good overall. Pendulum and key absent. 9-97795 (600-900)
