FRENCH CARVED OAK WALL CLOCK. Last quarter 19th century. The case in the form of a cartouche, crested with a carved griffin head, flanked by carved volutes and scrolling drapery centering a circular dial with Roman numeral chapter ring having brass numerals mounted on carved cartouches, centering a carved rosette and time and strike apertures. All above a pendant apron with a carved fruit cluster. SIZE: 28-1/2″ h x 21″ w. CONDITION: Case in very good condition with original surface in chocolate brown patina. Brass movement in unknown working order. Pendulum present, but with no key. 9-97797 (600-900)
