GEORGE III MAHOGANY BUTLER’S TRAY NOW MOUNTED ON A TABLE BASE. Tray: second half 18th century. Table base: benchmade mid 20th century. Rectangular paneled top with hinged demilune edges each with pierced handgrip, now mounted on a conforming mahogany frame raised on square champhered legs joined by an H-form stretcher. SIZE: Open: 18″ h x 35″ l x 26″ w. Closed: 22-3/4″ h x 27-1/4″ l x 18-1/2″ w. CONDITION: Tray retains original surfaces showing old water marks with very good color and patina.
