PAIR OF UNUSUAL ACORN FORM MIRRORS. Third quarter 19th century. Each molded frame mounted with a mirror plate carved in the form of an acorn, the cresting of each carved as a spray of oak leaves and acorns on crossed branches. SIZE: 37″ h x 23-1/2″ w. PROVENANCE: From the “Harp House” of Camden, Maine. CONDITION: Structurally very good, but with extensive loss to gilded surfaces. Mirror plates original with foxing. 9-26803 (500-1,000)
