PAIR OF WALLACE NUTTING MODEL 420 SACK-BACK WINDSOR ARMCHAIRS. Circa 1930. These labeled examples with outswept knuckle arms and shaped saddle seats. Each retains its original Wallace Nutting paper label beneath the seat. This model, #420, is illustrated in Wallace Nutting Supreme Edition General Catalog published in 1930, page 85. SIZE: 42-3/4″ h of back x 26-3/4″ w overall. CONDITION: Chairs retain original finish, somewhat dry but with good patina. Small stress crack on bowed crestrail of one chair.
