SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1884 RAMROD BAYONET TRAPDOOR RIFLE. Cal .45-70. 32-5/8” round bbl. ‘SWP” cartouche dated 1891. Late 1-pc trigger guard. SN 528878. CONDITION: 75% blue turning brown on bbl with many small dents on top. Casehardening colors on the breech block are mostly faded, lockplate and hammer only have about 20% of blue showing and there are areas of light surface rust. Buttplate has moderate to heavy rust. Wood has some light dents and scratches but is generally fine. Action is tight, bore is fine. 4-49630 FS117 (750-1,500)
