THREE L&JG STICKLEY SIDE CHAIRS TOGETHER WITH A SIMILAR EXAMPLE. First quarter 20th century. Each horizontal crestrail joined to three rectangular splats, the square stiles joined to trapezoidal seat frames raised on square legs joined by rectangular box stretchers. The first three examples branded “THE WORK OF L.&J.G.” on the back stretcher. The fourth chair of similar but heavier design attributed to “Quaint” with original chocolate brown surfaces. SIZE: First 3: 35-1/2″ h of back. Single: 38-3/4″ h of back. CONDITION: Overall very good. The three chairs with fabric seat covers. The single chair with leather seat cover. 9-20937 (400-600)
