PAIR OF AMERICAN LEMON TOP BRASS ANDIRONS. First quarter 19th century. Each faceted mid-molded lemon top surmounted by an oval shaped finial on a faceted and turned standard raised on double spurred cabriole legs with ridged pointed feet and with original conforming log stops. SIZE: 18-1/2″ h x 20″ d overall. CONDITION: Very good with minor and acceptable pitting of brass from use. No damages or restoration. Dogs appear original. 9-20454 (400-600)
