PAIR OF PORTLAND STONEWARE URNS. Early 20th century, Portland, Maine. Each urn with everted rim impressed with guilloches, the sides with scrolling oak branches and acorns. The round stepped base similarly decorated. Each base cast as a tree trunk with cut branches impressed within “PORTLAND STONEWARE CO. 66.” SIZE: Overall: 43″ h x 22″ dia. PROVENANCE: From the “Harp House” of Camden, Maine. CONDITION: Very good with slight surface abrasions and shallow chips. 9-26957 (1,000-1,500)
