UNUSUAL TRAMP ART HIGH CHEST OF DRAWERS. Second half 19th century, American. The chest with rectangular mirror plate, the surround with applied rows of diminishing diamonds joined to raised glove boxes in the form of short drawers with a central jewelry compartment joined to the high chest fitted with three central drawers, the pilasters and sides all with conforming raised panels. SIZE: 35-1/2″ h x 16-1/2″ w x 12″ d. PROVENANCE: From the “Harp House” of Camden, Maine. CONDITION: Losses to veneers at crest of mirror. It is possible the cover for the central jewelry tray is a replacement. Otherwise very good with original surfaces. 9-26822 (500-1,000)
