W FRANCIS SNOW (American, 19th/20th Century) NEW ENGLAND HOMESTEAD. Fine oil on canvas New England landscape shows a large yellow saltbox Colonial home having three stories, green shutters and large brick chimneys. A small connected barn is partially hidden by a large blossoming apple tree. The sun cascades light from the left side and there is another home on a hillside in the distance. Signed lower left “W F Snow”. Housed in its original gilt carved wood frame. SIZE: 18″ x 25″. CONDITION: Very good with light craquelure and some varnish discoloring. 9-74354 (800-1,200)
