A well dressed gentleman stands beside him with open portfolio on chair. Cardinal is looking at a large picture in his hands, which is obscured from viewer. Fireplace mantel behind with ornate clock, mirror and vases. Colorful wall panels with room screen. Signed lower left “B Borione Paris 1898”.
