ADIRONDACK STYLE HICKORY SETTEE AND ARMCHAIR. First third 20th century, American. The settee with rectangular back centering a woven splint panel, the styles joined to horizontal arms raised on cylindrical legs, centering a woven seat, the legs joined by a double box stretcher. The armchair of similar design. Both of a rustic form and attributed to The Old Hickory Furniture Company, Indiana. SIZE: 39-1/2″ h x 51″ w settee, 23″ w armchair. CONDITION: Very good overall with original surfaces. Each seat with losses of wrapping along front & rear seat rails. Structurally sound. 9-98626 (600-800)
