The figural mahogany case with engaged marbleized half columns with gilt capitals and bases raised on acanthus carved feet. The cornice above the open frieze above a gold painted wood dial with gilt spandrels. The Roman numeral chapter ring centering a crescent mirror plate above the painted name “R&J. B. TERRY BRISTOL, CT” over central eglomise panel of a displayed eagle above a door with eglomise panel of portrait of George Washington. The 8 day brass movement striking on bell.
