GRUEBY GREEN MATTE VASE. First quarter 20th century. This tall vase with a pentagonal everted lip designed with oval yellow flowerheads alternating with wide ribbed leaves. The whole with overall craquelure. With the artist signature of “ERF” for Edith R. Felton beneath the Grueby faience medallion mark. SIZE: 9″ h. CONDITION: The glaze in very good condition. Tip of one leaf with small shallow chip in glaze. There is some minor roughness on the protruding edges of the leaves. 9-98356 (3,000-5,000)
