TWO PIECES OF GUSTAVSBERG ARGENTA POTTERY. 1) Wonderful Gustavsberg stoneware bowl has mottled turquoise glaze with silver inlay geometric decoration. Bowl is finished with two applied handles. Marked on underside “Hand/Drejad” within a square as well as “Gustavsberg” with an anchor and a “G” beneath and “Kage”, “Argenta”, “1070” and “II” below. 2) Fine Gustavsberg stoneware vase has silver inlay decoration of a spray of flowers against a mottled turquoise glaze. Vase is finished with silver inlay band at lip and foot. Signed on underside “Gustavsberg” with an anchor, “Argenta 1099”, “IV”, “H”, “Made in Sweden” and an “S” off to the side. SIZE: 1) 6″ t x 10″ across. 2) 8-1/4″ t. CONDITION: 1) Very good to excellent. 2) There is a 1/2″ chip to underside of foot, otherwise very good. 5-66084, 5-66085 (500-800)
