GEORGE III FIGURAL MAHOGANY BUTLER’S TRAY ON LATER STAND. Second half 18th century. The rectangular paneled tray fitted with hinged demilune sides, each with a central pierced grip, now mounted on a conforming frame raised on square legs. SIZE: 17-1/2″ h open, 23″ h closed, 38-1/2″ l overall, 29-1/2″ w overall. CONDITION: Retains original brass hinges. Old shrinkage crack in center of panel. Old 3-1/2″ splinter loss at one end of tray. Base structurally intact. Overall good patina. 9-20456 (600-900)
