FIVE STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURES. Mid 19th Century. 1) A bocage figural group of a cow and calf in the form of a cream pitcher. 2) A mottled cow creamer, 3)a bocage figural group of a ram and lamb, 4)a bocage recumbent doe, and 5) a bocage figure of a woman titled “Archar”, the back of the figure impressed with the word “SALT” on a plaque. SIZE: Height of tallest 8″, height of smallest 4-1/2″. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: 1) With base chips on rim, otherwise very good. 2) Proper right horn broken, otherwise very good. 3) With chips in foliage of tree, otherwise good. 4) With small chips and flakes in foliage, otherwise good. 5) With damage to feathers of arrow, chips in foliage of tree, loss of glaze behind figure, small chips and losses to base rim. 9-21467 (800-1,200)
