TWO BLACK FOREST CARVED WALNUT TROPHY MOUNTS. Late 19th century, Switzerland. The first depicting a hanging deer, rabbit and birds suspended from an oak tree with long gun and pouch. The second depicting a hunting dog from whose mouth hangs a stag and a bird behind which is suspended a long gun, powder horn, pouch and feather hat. All mounted on an oval plaque with oak branch and acorn borders. SIZE: First: 27-1/2″ l. Second: 33″ l. PROVENANCE: From the “Harp House” of Camden, Maine. CONDITION: Both with original surfaces. First very good. Second with damage and losses to outer border and antler. Some pieces available for restoration. 9-26805 (800-1,200)
