TWO CARVED DEER MOUNTS. Late 19th early 20th Century. Central Europe. The first mounted on a scrolled cartouche plaque. The mount within a laurel wreath frame. The second carved from the solid with well articulated fur with painted eyes. SIZE: First: 24″ w, Second 17″ w. PROVENANCE: From the “Harp House” of Camden, Maine. CONDITION: The first needs re-attachment of antlers to bust with scrubbed surfaces. The second with dry surfaces. Very good. 9-26840 (1,000-1,500)
