WILLIAM IV BOOKCASE CABINET. Mid 19th Century. Of rectangular form with four graduated open shelves. The back and side supports with deeply scalloped and shaped edges. The lower shelf fitted with a pair of aligned drawers. The whole raised on turned cylindrical short legs. SIZE: 47″ h x 30″ w x 9-1/2″ d. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection (F.W. Woolworth Dept. Store). CONDITION: With original surfaces and mellow brown patina. Shrinkage crack with slight warp to back panel, left of center facing. 9-21304 (400-600)
