OUTSTANDING NATURALISTIC PAINTED AND CARVED WOOD NEW ENGLAND LOBSTER. 20th century. Polychrome painted in realistic tones rendered with half open claws and flared tail fins. The antennae outstretched as if in the act of searching. SIZE: 23″ l overall. CONDITION: Painted surfaces very good overall. Light scuffing to appendage above proper left claw. Additional scuff mark proper top left of main body behind eye. Loss of proper left rear small leg. Also to small first fin at beginning of tail.
