THREE PIECES OF SCRIMSHAW. Second half 19th century. The first, a tooth carved with the image of a woman in gown and veil beneath an emblem depicting a dove above an arrow pierced heart beneath the letter “A”. The second, an Oriental floral carved razor case in two parts. The third, a floral carved parasol handle. SIZE: 1) 7″ l. 2) 8″ l. 3) 3-1/4″ l. CONDITION: The tooth with old damage at lower proper left side of gown. Otherwise good. All items with mellow patina. 9-21260 (600-900)
