GU-SHAPED VASE DECORATED WITH BATTLE SCENES. In the style of the Qing Dynasty, Kangxi (1662-1722), China. Polychrome decorated vase with flared neck above a bulbous midsection continuing to a slightly flared foot. Decorated overall with two wide bands of mythical battle scenes, centering the crossthatched midband, with landscape panels. SIZE: 10″ h x 4-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Overall very good with slight wear to rim gilding and to painted decoration. Small fleck on base of midsection. 9-98246 (2,000-3,000)
