MODEL OF THE 3-MASTED SHIP “STONEHOUSE”. Late 19th, early 20th century. A handmade planked wooden model of a square rigged ship rendered with full rigging and full sail with raised decks fore and aft. Mounted with a long bowsprit above a figurehead and with lifeboats, anchors, jointed rudder and American flag. Sold with cradle. No case. SIZE: 32″ h x 44″ l. PROVENANCE: De-accessioned from a New England Institution. CONDITION: Original sails in very nice condition. Painted surfaces very good. Rigging overall very good but with damaged rigging to port side stern. 9-20535 (400-600)
