BLACK FOREST CARVED STAG MOUNT. Late 19th century, Switzerland. The wooden carving with brown glass eyes mounted to a carved cartouche and fitted with a pair of antlers. SIZE: 37-1/2″ h x 18″ w overall. PROVENANCE: From the “Harp House” of Camden, Maine. CONDITION: Surfaces repainted. With repair to crest and with shrinkage cracks to throat and to ears at head.
