GILT AND PAINT DECORATED CARVED EAGLE IN THE MANNER OF JOHN HALEY BELLAMY. Circa 1900. Carved pine displayed eagle and flag gold gilt decorated, the flag in red, white and blue paint. Mounted with a brass tack eye. SIZE: 21″ l x 3-1/4″ h. CONDITION: Retains original painted surfaces now showing effects of wear and weathering. Horizontal mended break running along head beneath eye and again at tip of beak. Otherwise very good. 9-20656 (800-1,200)
