NEW ENGLAND PINE AND MAPLE TAVERN TABLE. Second half 18th century. The rectangular single board top with bread board ends projecting above the conforming apron raised on blocked baluster turned legs ending in square feet joined by a rectangular box stretcher. SIZE: 24-3/4″ h x 39″ l x 27″ w. CONDITION: Scrubbed top with good patina. Underside with original teal paint. Base, now in a red stain, also with traces of old blue paint. Legs and stretcher original. Dowels and pegs appear untouched. One leg ended out 3/4″ with corresponding loss to inner side of foot exposing peg. Overall very good. 9-20724 (800-1,000)
