BLACK FOREST CARVED TROPHY WALL CLOCK. Late 19th century, Switzerland. The case carved as a trophy mount within a cartouche surmounted by a stag’s head with antlers and flanked by rabbit and game bird all above a hunter’s pouch, powder horn, etc. within sprays of oak leaf and acorn clusters, all centering a circular leaf carved dial set with white enamel Roman numerals. SIZE: 28″ h x 20-1/2″ w. PROVENANCE: From the “Harp House” of Camden, Maine. CONDITION: Case very good with old surfaces. Movement not checked for condition. 9-26848 (1,000-1,500)
