SIX BOARD BLANKET CHEST IN BLUE PAINT. Early 19th century, probably New York. Hinged pine lid fitted to the conforming birch case with boot jack ends. SIZE: 25″ h x 42-3/4″ l x 19″ d. CONDITION: Light blue painted surfaces over original cream, faded overall. Lid with extensive wear. Structurally sound and intact. Hinges are later replacements. 9-20720 (900-1,200)
