NEW ENGLAND FEDERAL CHERRY AND BIRCH FOUR DRAWER CHEST. First quarter 19th century. Rectangular top with crossbanded edges above the conforming case of four long drawers raised on shaped bracket feet. SIZE: 35-1/2″ h x 41″ w overall x 18-3/4″ d overall. CONDITION: Structurally very good with original cleaned surfaces. Some old and minor shrinkage cracks in top. Minor repairs to proper left rear foot using original pieces. Retains original hardware, backboards and feet. 9-98375 (600-900)
