NEW ENGLAND EARLY AMERICAN PINE TAVERN TABLE. Last quarter 18th century. The square top with broad champhered edges projecting above the conforming apron of pegged construction raised on four champhered square legs joined by a box stretcher. The legs and feet with canted corners. The table is finished with a brown paint which we believe to be early although not original. SIZE: 26″ h x 23-1/2″ x 24″. CONDITION: Structurally very good. The top has been reattached. There is a repaired split through the center of the top. 9-98400 (600-900)
