BLACK FOREST CARVED CANDLE STAND. Late 19th, early 20th century. The circular top carved with a central floral rosette within a 6-pointed star within borders of leaf tips raised on a turned standard, the top with carved supports simulating tree branches, the tripod base similarly carved. SIZE: 28″ h x 17-1/2″ dia. PROVENANCE: From the “Harp House” of Camden, Maine. CONDITION: Seam shrinkage split in top. Chip on side of standard and at tip of one foot. Otherwise with original surfaces. 9-26846 (300-500)
