SET OF SEVEN UNION PORCELAIN WORKS OYSTER PLATES. Each marked with a patent date of January 4th, 1881 and marked U.P.W. Each oval plate beautifully painted with varying marine scenes impressed with oyster half shells. SIZE: 10-1/4 l, 7-3/4 w. CONDITION: Overall very good. The raised snail decoration at the side of each plate with losses to paint due to rubbing. These losses due primarily to the configuration of the plate when stacked one upon the other.
