Depicting an 18th-century swain offering a seated female vegetable seller a flower, presented on a parcel-gilt rococo base, signed on the base with the Meissen underglaze blue crossed swords. Incised and impressed numerals “1584” and “137”. SIZE: 7″ h. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Minor losses to paint decoration on tree trunk, otherwise very good with brilliant, rich colors. 9-21463 (800-1,200)
