ELECTION GAME. A rarity from J.H. Singer Co. portraying early political concerns such as woman’s suffrage, prohibition, and general reform. The box lid depicts two fancily dressed Edwardian dandies trumpeting the beginning of the election. The interior consists of six miniature lithographed ballot boxes decorated with scenes of police brutality, the gap between rich and poor, etc. Two individual boxes contain various cards for votes and game cards of different characters, and retains original directions sheet. SIZE: 13″ l. x 7″ w. CONDITION: Some edge wear to lid of box with slight water staining.
