RARE BLACK FOREST CARVED BEAR CARD HOLDER/PLANTER. Late 19th century, Switzerland. The standing bear carved on a rocky outcrop balancing a leafy plant holder surround looking upwards with open mouth and brown glass eyes. The left paw extended holding a shell form tray for calling cards. SIZE: 48″ h. PROVENANCE: From the “Harp House” of Camden, Maine. CONDITION: Very good overall with old surfaces and good patina.
