MORSE & CO MAHOGANY OGEE SHELF CLOCK. Mid 19th century, Connecticut. The clock with 8 day brass movement, time and strike apertures within a Roman numeral chapter ring. The hinged door within the ogee molded frame fitted with a frosted glass panel decorated with a lyre. Back of case affixed with original paper label. Clock offered with pair of weights and pendulum. SIZE: 25-1/2″ h x 15″ w x 4″ d. CONDITION: Generally good with wear to silvering on panel. Case with areas of veneer loss. Brass movement not inspected. 9-25060 (150-250)
