GOTHIC REVIVAL CARVED WALNUT CABINET. Third quarter 19th century, probably New York. The rectangular top with canted edges and cut corners above the conforming case fitted with a drawer above a cupboard door on a molded base carved with guilloches. The cabinet foliate carved overall with scrolling vinery. The drawer carved with flower heads and latticework. SIZE: 31-1/2″ h x 24″ w x 22″ d. PROVENANCE: Barnard Estate of Augusta, Maine. CONDITION: With original surfaces. Structurally good. In need of cleaning and polishing. Probably originally with marble top, now with mahogany top. 9-20995 (700-900)
