CONTINENTAL PORCELAIN FIGURE OF MADONNA AND CHILD. Late 18th, early 19th century. Both figures modeled with crowns, the child posed on a globe. Both figures standing on a cloud-like plinth from which three putti are emerging. Modeled on a molded socle encircled with vinery. SIZE: 13″ h. CONDITION: The majority of enameled and painted decoration and gilding has been removed and/or worn off. Many tips of the crowns are missing. Damage to child’s proper left hand.
