MEISSEN FIGURAL GROUP AND TWO STATUETTES. 19th century, Germany. The figural group depicting five children with their pets in various poses on a circular rocky plinth. Accompanied by a single figure of a young girl feeding a lamb on a tree trunk. Also a figure of a young boy carrying a basket of fruit, a small hoe in his right hand. Both mounted on a scrolling plinth. All of similar vintage. SIZE: 7″ h of first, 4-1/2″, 5-1/2″ h of figurines. PROVENANCE: Property of an East Coast Institution. CONDITION: All in “as found” condition. The figural group missing one complete figure. 9-98335 (300-500)
