Large folio framed colored lithograph shows the clipper ship sailing right to left with partial sails up flying an American flag. The background is New York harbor with the Battery off the bow. After a painting by James E. Butterworth. Dated 1854. Housed in a period Victorian walnut frame with gold liner. Conningham checklist no. 1159. SIZE: Sight: 21-3/4″ x 27-3/4″. CONDITION: Not examined out of frame. Small loss to right bottom corner. Foxing lines and spots. Otherwise good. 7-72626 (600-800)
