EXCEPTIONAL RESTORED 10″ FIRE ENGINE BALL LAMP WITH EAGLE FINIAL. Second half 19th century. Surmounted by a flying gold plated eagle above the chrome plated lamp with four lenses including a red lens etched with frosted glass numeral “1”, opposing a blue lens etched with frosted glass foliate cartouche; a clear lens etched with a flying eagle landing on a large tree branch opposing an additional clear lens etched with a steam fire engine. Interior fitted with original burner. Now mounted to a wood base. SIZE: 23″ h, 6″ dia lenses. CONDITION: Completely professionally restored. 9-20621 (2,250-2,750)
