PAIR OF CHROME PLATED AND BLACK ENAMEL HEARSE LANTERNS. First quarter 20th century. Stamped with the maker’s name “WHITE MFG CO”. These quality ornate lanterns with a chrome plated turban finial above a copper and chrome plated umbrella cap with bow tied swags. The square lantern box with two beveled and cut glass lenses with reflective interior fitted with an electric lamp. The lamp with elongated torch base. Now mounted on a custom display stand. SIZE: 38″ h of lantern, 8″ x 6″ lenses; 41″ h overall. CONDITION: Beautifully and professionally restored. 9-20624 (3,000-5,000)
