FRAMED ALLEGORICAL NEEDLEWORK PICTURE. The scene shows the King & Queen receiving a man in brown robe while a bishop looks on. The King holds the Queen’s hand and retreats slightly from the visitor. All in an interior castle room. The Queen has seed pearl head piece and there is an addition of small colorful bead clasps to robes. The faces are hand painted in nice detail. Housed in its original frame with attached light & glass front. SIZE: 24-1/2″ x 19″. CONDITION: Some breaks in the silk, generally very good. 9-25085 (1,000-1,600)
