17-1/2″ CYLINDER MUSIC BOX. Ebony case with walnut veneer on front and lid, string inlay borders and 6″ x 9″ floral inlay on lid. String inlay on underside of lid with a damaged tune card listing 12 tunes. Two large brass handles on each end of case. Mechanism is un-restored in good condition. Music box has double spring motor. The nickel plating is very good. SIZE: 33″ w x 9″ h x 12″ d. CONDITION: Case is in very good condition with nice original finish. Tune card has major tear and two small chunks out of it (1/2″ x 1/2″ and 1″ x 1″). The mechanism has two broken teeth and one missing tip. Needs dampers and basic restoration. Has zither attachment that is not working. 1-10672 (800-1,200)
